Solstice comes from the Latin word sol(sun) and sistere (to stand still).

Representing a moment of stillness before the Earth moves into her next phase, next chapter, next adventure.

The shift in our surroundings is an invitation to lean into the shift that is occurring within each of us.

It is through honoring the continual motion of the Earth and all the nature that we can honor our own cycles of change, growth, expansion, shedding, release, shifting and more.
